At the January 13 City Council meeting, City Council approved an amendment to the FY 2026 Town budget. This was the first budget amendment for the fiscal year, which runs through September 30, 2026.

The amendment reflects Council direction given at the January 6 Work Session to discontinue the Taste Addison event for 2026. As a result, the budgeted expenses and revenues associated with the event were removed from the Hotel Fund.

The amendment reduced Hotel Fund expenditures by $1,090,400 and reduced projected revenues by $625,000. This change increased the Hotel Fund’s projected ending balance by $465,400. No other funds were impacted by the amendment.
