At its July 7 work session, the City Council received an overview of the Fiscal Year 2027 budget process, including the timeline, budget priorities, and financial assumptions that will guide development of the proposed budget. The presentation also outlined how departments build their budgets, identify resource maximization opportunities, and align funding requests with the Town’s strategic priorities.

The budget process will continue throughout the summer, with the City Manager’s proposed budget scheduled to be submitted to Council on July 31, followed by a budget workshop and public hearings before the FY2027 budget and tax rate are considered for adoption in September.
