News

At its July 28 meeting, the City Council adopted the 2026 Master Transportation Plan, updating the Town’s long-range transportation roadmap to reflect completed projects, current needs, and future growth. The plan will guide future investments to improve roadway safety, pedestrian and bicycle connectivity, traffic flow, and mobility throughout Addison.

The updated plan provides a framework for evaluating future transportation improvements and establishes long-term priorities for streets, sidewalks, trails, traffic calming, and multimodal transportation. It also incorporates recent projects, including the completion of the DART Silver Line, and updates the Town’s active transportation network and pedestrian planning tools.
