At its September 8 meeting, the City Council approved a rezoning request from Rosewood Property Company for 6.18 acres at 4325 and 4559 Belt Line Road, east of Midway Road. The property currently includes a Motel 6, a former Denny’s that has been vacant since approximately 2010, and an undeveloped parcel.

The approved plans allow Rosewood to redevelop the site with 380 multifamily units in a five-story building, along with a structured parking garage, surface parking, private open space, and resident amenities. Plans include an outdoor pool, dog park, fitness center, coworking space, clubroom, tenant lounge, and game room. The development will also include enhanced sidewalks along Belt Line Road and connections to the surrounding trail network.
